Hope the Leprechaun dances his jig for you!

Comments from others:

I had to forward this, my mom swears it works. The day after she sent it, they got an offer on their land on the Swannee river, they haven't even seen that land since 1987. It came out of the blue. So you know that I'm going to try it.
Love Kim

Not sure if this had anything to do with it but it was shortly after I sent this out - I got a call to say our bond was approved - against all odds.

I don't know if it works but I won a new fridge full of various cool drinks from Beyer and Beyer last week.

I do not know if it works, but I won a microwave yesterday Seems like it Hey !!

I hope this works my son could use a really good job!!!!!!!

Good luck to everyone! And may all your dreams come true!!

This may sound nuts, but my husband got this the other day and sent it off. About 10 minutes later a really good financial windfall happened for his son Sean who he had sent it too as well. One of the people he sent it to was responsible for the windfall.

AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH

Good Luck!!

I hope it works...

May there always be work for your hands to do;

About seeing Auras

Tao of Lakota, North Dakota asks:

How does anybody really "see" auras? My own opinion is that auras are physiological rather than spiritual, but I'm fascinated to understand more.

Psychic Marin responds:

Martha Graham, an American dancer, choreographer and pioneer of modern dance in the 1920s, was able to capture the essence of the human aura, describing it as a vitality, a life force, and an energy that is translated through you into action. Because there is only one "you," this energetic expression will always be unique.

From a scientific perspective, an aura is the energy field that surrounds the human body, or any matter composed of an atomic structure. Did I lose you already? OK, hang in there with me for a minute. You may feel like you're in Physics 101.

Within our atomic structure are positive and negative charges that interact with one another. The increase in interaction results in more energy production, visible as a vibrant light or aura.

The crown chakra, the energy source located at the top of our head, is the origin of the aura. Here lies the brain, the most active area of our body.

When you imagine an angel, do you instantly visualize a figure with a halo above its head? The halo, often seen around the heads of prominent religious figures like Mary and Jesus, identifies someone with a strong energy field and sacred aura. Fortunately, we have evolved in our scientific understanding of the aura and equipment has been developed that allows us to capture one's aura through photography. You may have seen these fancy cameras at psychic fairs. Although aura photography is a useful tool, highly sensitive individuals have the ability to visually see auras without the use of photographic equipment. I will never forget the first time I saw an aura. I did a double take, simply because I had never seen anything quite like it. I thought my eyesight was distorted, or that I was suffering from some form of selectively blurred vision. Little did I know that I was developing the ability to see auras. You too may have this ability, and an afternoon of people-watching from a park bench will help nurture it.

Developing your ability to see auras
1. Find a comfortable bench in a busy park or city street, a place where you will be exposed to a variety of individuals. The more diverse (socially, culturally or economically), the better.

2. Choose a person close by. Try to locate a stationary person, rather than someone in motion, as the aura will be easier to decipher.

3. With an intense gaze (you may want to wear sunglasses so you don't appear to be staring), watch the person in front of you, paying specific attention to the head area. Visualize their head floating in thin air, allowing the rest of their human form to disappear.

4. Keep your eyes open for as long as possible and avoid blinking. At first, your eyes may burn, which is to be expected. As you practice, the muscles in your eyes will strengthen until you can hold a gaze for a long time. Some professional scryers (crystal ball readers) and aura readers can maintain their intense gaze for a at least 30 minutes.

5. Don't let your eyes wander. Rather, keep them fixed, looking intensely at the head of the person in front of you.

6. Eventually, the clear details of the face will become blurry, and the human form will begin to appear milky white.

7. Next, you will begin to see light and/or colors surrounding the head. Auras appear in a variety of forms, from rays of light to rings, rainbows or even spots of color. There is no right or wrong way of seeing an aura.

8. If for some reason you have difficulty seeing an aura, choose another person and try the exercise again.

9. Once you have identified an aura surrounding someone, continue watching for at least five minutes. Does the aura change colors? Does it change in intensity, growing stronger or diminishing in brightness? Does it immediately change from one color to another? Note any surrounding activity that could have contributed to a change. Take a look at the following aura attributes to help you understand the meaning of aura colors and patterns.

Aura attributes
Clear/Bright Aura: Positive state of mind, healthy
Invisible/absent Aura: Withdrawn, reluctant, distrustful
Faded/Dull Aura: Illness, sadness, grieving
Red Aura: Active, strength
Pink Aura: Loving, compassionate
Orange Aura: Intellectually strong, honorable
Yellow Aura: Well balanced
Green Aura: Creative, feisty, restless, active
Blue Aura: Healing
Purple Aura: Psychic abilities, mediumship
White Aura: Purity, divine messenger, angelic
Black Aura: Negativity, depression, mental health difficulties

Environmental influences and the energies we absorb from others can take their toll on us. Understanding this and being able to "see" the aura will encourage you to maintain good "aura health." Identify what aspects of life strengthen or weaken your aura. The stronger your aura, the more it can act like a barrier and offer psychic shielding and protection.

Indulge in the small miracle and beauty of seeing another individual's aura, and recognize that you possess a gift that allows you to see people through a different perspective. Treat this newly discovered ability with respect and appreciation, and most importantly, use it responsibly!

Faithfully,
PHOENIX — During the great housing boom, homeowners nationwide borrowed a trillion dollars from banks, using the soaring value of their houses as security. Now the money has been spent and struggling borrowers are unable or unwilling to pay it back.

The delinquency rate on home equity loans is higher than all other types of consumer loans, including auto loans, boat loans, personal loans and even bank cards like Visa and MasterCard, according to the American Bankers Association.

Lenders say they are trying to recover some of that money but their success has been limited, in part because so many borrowers threaten bankruptcy and because the value of the homes, the collateral backing the loans, has often disappeared.

The result is one of the paradoxes of the recession: the more money you borrowed, the less likely you will have to pay up.

“When houses were doubling in value, mom and pop making $80,000 a year were taking out $300,000 home equity loans for new cars and boats,” said Christopher A. Combs, a real estate lawyer here, where the problem is especially pronounced. “Their chances are pretty good of walking away and not having the bank collect.”

Lenders wrote off as uncollectible $11.1 billion in home equity loans and $19.9 billion in home equity lines of credit in 2009, more than they wrote off on primary mortgages, government data shows. So far this year, the trend is the same, with combined write-offs of $7.88 billion in the first quarter.

Even when a lender forces a borrower to settle through legal action, it can rarely extract more than 10 cents on the dollar. “People got 90 cents for free,” Mr. Combs said. “It rewards immorality, to some extent.”

Utah Loan Servicing is a debt collector that buys home equity loans from lenders. Clark Terry, the chief executive, says he does not pay more than $500 for a loan, regardless of how big it is.

“Anything over $15,000 to $20,000 is not collectible,” Mr. Terry said. “Americans seem to believe that anything they can get away with is O.K.”

But the borrowers argue that they are simply rebuilding their ravaged lives. Many also say that the banks were predatory, or at least indiscriminate, in making loans, and nevertheless were bailed out by the federal government. Finally, they point to their trump card: they say will declare bankruptcy if a settlement is not on favorable terms.

“I am not going to be a slave to the bank,” said Shawn Schlegel, a real estate agent who is in default on a $94,873 home equity loan. His lender obtained a court order garnishing his wages, but that was 18 months ago. Mr. Schlegel, 38, has not heard from the lender since. “The case is sitting stagnant,” he said. “Maybe it will just go away.”

Mr. Schlegel’s tale is similar to many others who got caught up in the boom: He came to Arizona in 2003 and quickly accumulated three houses and some land. Each deal financed the next. “I was taught in real estate that you use your leverage to grow. I never dreamed the properties would go from $265,000 to $65,000.”

Apparently neither did one of his lenders, the Desert Schools Federal Credit Union, which gave him a home equity loan secured by, the contract states, the “security interest in your dwelling or other real property.”

Desert Schools, the largest credit union in Arizona, increased its allowance for loan losses of all types by 926 percent in the last two years. It declined to comment.

The amount of bad home equity loan business during the boom is incalculable and in retrospect inexplicable, housing experts say. Most of the debt is still on the books of the lenders, which include Bank of America, Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase.

“No one had ever seen a national real estate bubble,” said Keith Leggett, a senior economist with the American Bankers Association. “We would love to change history so more conservative underwriting practices were put in place.”

The delinquency rate on home equity loans was 4.12 percent in the first quarter, down slightly from the fourth quarter of 2009, when it was the highest in 26 years of such record keeping. Borrowers who default can expect damage to their creditworthiness and in some cases tax consequences.

Nevertheless, Mr. Leggett said, “more than a sliver” of the debt will never be repaid.

Eric Hairston plans to be among this group. During the boom, he bought as an investment a three-apartment property in Hoboken, N.J. At the peak, when the building was worth as much as $1.5 million, he took out a $190,000 home equity loan.

Mr. Hairston, who worked in the technology department of the investment bank Lehman Brothers, invested in a Northern California pizza catering company. When real estate cratered, Mr. Hairston went into default.

The building was sold this spring for $750,000. Only a small slice went to the home equity lender, which reserved the right to come after Mr. Hairston for the rest of what it was owed.

Mr. Hairston, who now works for the pizza company, has not heard again from his lender.

Since the lender made a bad loan, Mr. Hairston argues, a 10 percent settlement would be reasonable. “It’s not the homeowner’s fault that the value of the collateral drops,” he said.

Marc McCain, a Phoenix lawyer, has been retained by about 300 new clients in the last year, many of whom were planning to walk away from properties they could afford but wanted to be rid of — strategic defaulters. On top of their unpaid mortgage obligations, they had home equity loans of $50,000 to $150,000.

Fewer than 5 percent of these clients said they would continue paying their home equity loan no matter what. Ten percent intend to negotiate a short sale on their house, where the holders of the primary mortgage and the home equity loan agree to accept less than what they are owed. In such deals primary mortgage holders get paid first.

The other 85 percent said they would default and worry about the debt only if and when they were forced to, Mr. McCain said.

“People want to have some green pastures in front of them,” said Mr. McCain, who recently negotiated a couple’s $75,000 home equity debt into a $3,500 settlement. “It’s come to the point where morality is no longer an issue.”

Darin Bolton, a software engineer, defaulted on the loans for his house in a Chicago suburb last year because “we felt we were just tossing our money into a hole.” This spring, he moved into a rental a few blocks away.

“I’m kind of banking on there being too many of us for the lenders to pursue,” he said. “There is strength in numbers.”

John Collins Rudolf contributed reporting.
Webmaster Level: Beginner

Want to eat healthier and exercise more in 2010? That's tough! Want to learn about search engine optimization (SEO) so you can disregard the rumors and know what's important? That's easy! Here's how to gain SEO knowledge as you go about your new start to 2010:

Step 1: Absorb the basics

* If you like to learn by reading, download our SEO Starter Guide for reading while you're on an exercise bike, training for Ironman.
* Or, if you're more a video watcher, try listening to my "Search Friendly Development" session while you're cleaning your house. Keep in mind that some parts of the presentation are a little more technical.

* For good measure, and because at some point you'll hear references to them, check out our webmaster guidelines for yourself.

Step 2: Explore details that pique your interest
Are you done with the basics but now you have some questions? Good for you! Try researching a particular topic in our Webmaster Help Center. For example, do you want more information about crawling and indexing or understanding what links are all about?

Step 3: Verify ownership of your site in Webmaster Tools
It takes a little bit of skill, but we have tons of help for verification. Once you verify ownership of your site (i.e., signal to Google that you're the owner), you can:

* See more confidential information about your site, like crawl errors or messages from Google about your site
* Run through the Webmaster Tools checklist and learn new ways to monitor and manage your site
* Forward your Google messages to your personal email address

A sample message regarding the crawlability of your site

Step 4: Research before you do anything drastic
Usually the basics (e.g., good content/service and a crawlable site with indexable information) are the necessities for SEO. You may hear or read differently, but before you do anything drastic on your site such as robots.txt disallow'ing all of your directories or revamping your entire site architecture, please try:

* Researching material in our Help Center
* Checking for related posts in our Webmaster Forum
* Asking for feedback from the webmaster community -- we've got a super skilled group of Google employees, members, and Bionic Posters.
To President Obama and all 535 voting members of the Legislature,

It is now official you are ALL corrupt morons:

The U.S. Post Service was established in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right and it is broke.
The Department of Energy was created in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before.. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

You have FAILED in every "government service" you have shoved down our throats while overspending our tax dollars

Folks, keep this circulating. It is very well stated. Maybe it will end up in the e-mails of some of our "duly elected' and their staff (they never read anything) will clue them in on how American's feel.

Paper Addicts

Paper Addicts

The world is not yet ready to give up its addiction to paper currency. Actually, the world may be getting a snoot-full of it, but governments are not. You see, paper currency has an unbelievably strong attraction for governments. Do you know what it is? Do you wanna know?

It’s elastic. And, boy, oh boy, can it stretch. You see, if governments cannot operate under paper money, they can’t inflate the currency. If they can’t inflate the currency, then they can’t spend with reckless abandon. Perhaps you’re asking yourself what rising prices have to do with government spending. And if you haven’t been around this bar much… that’s a very good question. So let me sum it up quickly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Special~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“The Bailout Loophole!”
How Congressional Mandate HR-3221 Could Pay You Up To $17,500 This Year
Missed by millions of Americans, this little-known LEGAL “loophole” could easily pay you up to $17,500 in income this year and every year…
For as long as it takes this market and the U.S. economy to recover!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The basic theory of government operation as it is taught in school and propounded by the media is that the government spends money to provide us services that we would be unable to provide ourselves. To pay for those services, they extract from us, you guessed it, TAXES.

STOP! Wait! Don’t you believe it!

The amount of taxes collected here in the United States last year would not have been enough to fund Social Security and Medicare. It’s hard to believe, but true. So where does all the money come from to pay for the infinite number of other expenditures of the federal government?

How do they pay for schools? Not just the aging and dilapidating buildings, but the books, supplies, teachers and the massive bureaucracy? How do they pay for the military… guns, tanks, soldiers, computers, jets, ships, submarines and planes? How do they pay for the Senate, House, Supreme Court, president, Secret Service, CIA, FBI, NSA, NASA, DOJ, DHA, HUD, DHS, ATF, IRS? Not to mention welfare programs of multitudinous varieties, college grants and national parks. How do they pay for all this? By means of two devices about which the man on the street knows little.

The first is through bond and Treasury auctions. We — as in “we the people’ — sell these instruments to people who believe that we are a good risk. Then we pay them to let us borrow their money. Of course, borrowing money costs money… it’s never free. But when a country borrows more than it takes in by taxation, because it is spending more than it takes in by taxation, the result is a growing debt problem, which never gets paid down. So how can the United States, or any country, continue on this cycle of never-ending borrowing? Not to worry, my friend. Because here is where the second device comes into play.

Countries begin paying off their debt with money that they “print.” It is commonly called monetizing the debt. It’s not hard to understand, but they try to make it hard. When you’re stealing from your citizens, it is better if they don’t know it. If you make the example and the problem personal, it all falls into place.

If I had a nearly endless source from which to borrow, some deep-pocketed uncle for instance, I could borrow from him indefinitely, as long as I could pay him back in money that I printed myself. If he did not know the money I gave him was fake, or if he just didn’t care, I could continue that scam in perpetuity. I could borrow millions… billions… TRILLIONS! But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

Technically, I could only borrow from him until he was out of money. Right? Well, no… not exactly. If he had creditors who would take my fake money as real money, he would never have to stop lending. Until someone held his “wallet to the fire.” That is essentially what is happening. Only it is our Uncle Sam who is doing the borrowing. Then he prints his own money and uses it to pay his bills to his creditors around the world. Up until recently, our creditors had to take it. Because we had the bully power to force it on them. Plus since all the countries in the world were doing the same thing, our funny money was considered the best. That gave it some sort of intrinsic value.

$4,000 for an Ounce of Silver Bullion? Here’s how it’s already happening…

An exclusive deal with a $4 billion precious metals wholesaler gets you 31% off market price for America’s hottest ounce of silver — the MS70-grade 2009 Silver Eagle coins.

The 1995 version is already valued at $4,000. And the 1998 can fetch $2,500 — grab your 31% discount on the last of the 2009s here today.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
But now there are currencies more valuable than ours. And now we do not have the military firepower to force it on others. Some feel that means that the whole jig is up. If our paper money is refused, then everyone’s paper money will be refused. But just because our government has spent us into trouble and is trying to make it worse with bigger and bigger spending projects from stimulus to healthcare doesn’t mean that the other major economies of the world are ready to throw in the towel. Indeed, if they can hang on, they will, because perhaps they will move into the position of world’s reserve currency and can produce prosperity out of nothing, all while impoverishing their citizens and neighbors.
Thus this will be but another round in dumping the dollar. The other currencies will look out for themselves. And playing those currencies could mean more currency option opportunities for us.
Regards,
Bill Jenkins
A Parting Shot
Vanity, vanity…all is vanity! Especially paper!
And there will be a magnificent bonfire when all these little vanities finally hit kindling temperature. I can’t wait to see it!
Hi Gary,
Byron King may be correct in saying that what is being called "Climategate" has smacked down "... the last semblance of unblinking, unthinking willingness to submit to draconian, Procrustean “cap and trade” legislation against fossil fuels." Unfortunately, it has done exactly zero damage to the willingness to IMPOSE them. Willingness to submit is irrelevant when the imposers have the force of guns and government behind them.
As Byron points out, it's not and never has been about climate. Rather, it is a naked power grab by a global statist elite whose true goal is control over our lives. Meanwhile, the dime store Hitlers at the head of a cabal of 3rd-world kleptocracies salivate at the prospect of "climate reparations" to fatten their Swiss bank accounts.
With 100% justification does Byron offer the oldest, soundest advice ever spoken on this planet: "Follow the money."
Cheers from the frozen depths of Wisconsin, where we could do with a little global warming today.
"That poor frozen bastard still waiting for his barstool number..."
Thanks for the note.
Now for a letter that made it just in time for today’s send…
Dear Gary,
Please see the article located at the below location:
http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/earth/4338343.html
The article seems to me to be unbiased about the climate issue. If you are seeking the truth about climate change and wish to respond to the skeptics, this may help.
For my part, I see that there is a hard resistance to change that is necessary. People simply do not wish to change. It is stressful. It costs a lot of money. It is uncomfortable.
Change will happen. The entire world must change...and soon.
There are too many people and they are changing the world environment. Negatively.
The planet will reduce human numbers dramatically if humans fail to change. We who have so much and tell the poor and starving of the world to eat cake will also be suffering along with them.
Countries that have ocean coastlines will suffer greatly. Great swaths of farm land are going to be inundated. Water from melting glaciers will be profuse at first and then there will be no fresh water from them. Billions of people will starve. This will happen. Because the rich and powerful will not change at all or not in time. The poor countries know what is coming and screaming about it now. It will not be enough. Or in time.
There is a significant chance that as the oceans rise and deserts expand that disease will so decimate the world's population that modern civilization, as we know it, will come to an end altogether. Disease and famine work well together.
And, of course, there will be wars over the remaining resources and FOOD AND WATER. The thoughts of this environmental disaster are so unsettling that most people can not think them. They simply can not envision them. It is much like primitive people first seeing someone on horseback or seeing an airplane for the first time. It is too much of a stretch. For even the most educated, the idea of ecological and population collapse is just too much to accept. It is a failure of intellect and imagination.
I would suggest that there are a few who see the wave of death and extinction coming. They are not making noise or arguing the points of reason. They are simply moving to places that they hope will survive, if not in a high tech way, at least survive.
Since you are in the media and are kind of forced to take sides you can have a profound influence on the folk who have not got the facts or who have not a way to see the truth. It is sort of incumbent on you to serve up something as close to the truth as you can. The more one looks into this climate change the more it is far far worse than one wants to ever believe.
It scares me. It scares the shit out of me. I have been reading a lot of books about it in the passed few years. I can tell you, Gary, that it is not BS. If anything, the problem is so vast and encompassing that most humans can not deal with it. The solution, if there indeed is one, must be a global response. No cheaters. No abstainers.
Personally, Gary, I think, from my reading that any 'solution' will come too little and too late. Enjoy your current life as if the fall is not coming at all. Knowing it will come will help you enjoy the remainder even more. Just say, F*ck It, and live it up. Knowing what is coming is a burden and a sort of freedom.
I live in Hawaii. It is often consider paradise by many. It never has been and never will be. But it is far from the horrors that are coming. Hopefully, I will survive here. If not, well, so be it.
Aloha
“Let not your heart be troubled.”
You all may remember I mentioned a Whiskey Shooter by the name of Doug who met up with us in Phoenix at the Freedom Summit. Doug rode out with our tiny band through the desert and into the mountains. He sent me this picture he’d taken:
It reminds me that there are bigger things than the fleeting nonsense of men. Life is dazzlingly complex, awfully unlikely and impossibly rare on a cosmic scale...but the universe would spin on beautifully if life had never been. It will spin on with the same unconscious grandeur after all life on the surface of our little rock is gone.
One Ligth Bulb at a time
One Light Bulb at a Time
A physics teacher in high school, once told the students that while one grasshopper on the railroad tracks wouldn't slow a train very much, a billion of them would.
With that thought in mind, read the following, obviously written by a good American ..
Good idea .. . . One light bulb at a time . . . .
Check this out . I can verify this because I was in Lowes the other day for some reason and just for the heck of it I was looking at the hose attachments . They were all made in China . The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there. They were made in USA .
Start looking ..
In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else - even their job . So, after reading this email, I think this lady is on the right track . Let's get behind her!
My grandson likes Hershey's candy . I noticed, though, that it is marked Made in Mexico now. I do not buy it any more.
My favorite toothpaste Colgate is made in Mexico ... Now I have switched to Crest. You have to read the labels on everything ..
This past weekend I was at Kroger. I needed 60 W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets. I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy was an off-brand labeled, Everyday Value.” I picked up both types of bulbs and compared the stats -they were the same except for the price ..
The GE bulbs were more money than the Everyday Value brand but the thing that surprised me the most was the fact that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in - get ready for this - the USA in a company in Cleveland , Ohio .
So throw out the myth that you cannot find products you use every day that are made right here ..
So on to another aisle - Bounce Dryer Sheets . . .Yep, you guessed it. Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada . The Everyday Value Brand was less money and MADE IN THE USA ! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years and at almost half the price!
My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see that you can find that is made in the USA – the job you save may be your own or your neighbors!
If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time! Stop buying from overseas companies! (We should have awakened a decade ago!)
Let's get with the program . . . .. Help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and create more jobs here in the U . S . A .
